Ricandi Gardens are a tropical paradise located in the heart of the beautiful Kaipara, in the small town of Maungaturoto.
Richard created this tropical paradise for his late wife Diana, and now he loves sharing it with other keen plant lovers. He is often receiving bookings for garden groups to come for tours. Later this year he will open his studio gallery to the public.

New Zealand Freelance Painter, Sculptor, Illustrator and Landscape Designer Richard Moore has been portraying nature and wildlife for the past 40 years. Richards paintings and sculpture commissions, are included in numerous private collections here in New Zealand and around the world. Richard has been concentrating on his passion for gardening and has landscaped not only his own tropical paradise with bromeliads, hand-carved rocks and waterfalls, but designed and curated many client’s beautiful gardens.
Later in 2023 his Studio Gallery will open to the public.
